The Government of Karnataka has been encouraging budding entrepreneurs to do business in the state. It is evident by the increase in the number of startups in Bengaluru. It has also seen several among them become unicorns and soonicorns. Speaking about which Dr. Ashwathnarayansaid, “ The society has benefited from the talent of youngsters, technocrats and their innovations.”

He added that the government is facilitating world class telecommunication infrastructure and that power and telecommunication and water are today the most critical sectors. Improving the development of these sectors in rural areas will directly contribute to the development of the state.
